Kelly J. Shannon, Ph.D. was awarded a 2017 Summer Stipend from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). The Summer Stipend competition is highly competitive, and only 8% of applications from scholars across the humanities were funded for the 2017 competition. Prof. Shannon used her Summer Stipend to fund two months of archival research at the British Library in London and British National Archives in Kew for her new book-length project on U.S. relations with Iran, 1905-1953.
